Privacy Policy
The developer of The Movie Slot does not collect, store or share personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
The films you save to “To watch” and mark as “Already seen” are stored on your device. The developer never receives them and has no way of reading them. Deleting the app, or using “Delete my lists” inside the app, removes them from the device permanently.
If you are signed in to iCloud, these lists are also kept in your own iCloud account so that they appear on your other devices. This uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage: the copy belongs to your Apple Account, we operate no server, we hold no account for you and we cannot read the copy. You can turn this off at any time from the app’s About screen; while it is off, nothing is written to iCloud. Apple’s privacy policy applies to data held in iCloud.
Film posters are cached on your device so the same image is not downloaded twice. You can clear this cache at any time from the app’s About screen.
Third-party services
The app requests film information through a security gateway operated with Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives your IP address as part of the normal network request and uses it transiently to protect the service from abuse and apply request limits. The gateway does not receive your saved-film lists, device identifiers, account data or advertising identifiers. It forwards only the film query to TMDB.
Streaming availability shown in the app originates from JustWatch and is delivered through TMDB. Opening a trailer takes you to YouTube, and opening a streaming link takes you to that service. Once you leave the app, the privacy policy of that service applies.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Tips
The app has an optional tip jar. Tips unlock nothing and are purely voluntary. Payment is handled entirely by Apple: the developer never sees your name, email address, card details or billing address, and receives no personal data of any kind from a tip. Refunds are handled by Apple.
No analytics, ads or tracking
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party tracking library of any kind. It does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
The app is not directed at children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Adult content is excluded from film results.

Gizlilik Politikası
The Movie Slot geliştiricisi kişisel veri toplamaz, saklamaz veya paylaşmaz.
